From a website to a productplanned

A site that sits there is a business card.

Every service you will ever wire up works the same way: a key that stays on the server, a call to somebody else's system, an answer, and a plan for when the answer never comes. Learn that shape once on payments and it works for every integration after it. This course teaches the shape and then uses it three times.

You'll need a paid Claude plan, which is $20 a month, and a machine you can install things on. You'll also want a site to build on, which is what the first course gets you.

What It Covers

Same shape, three times.

No accounts and no logins. For a lot of businesses this is the last course they need.

01

How every integration works

A key that lives on the server and never reaches the browser, a call out to somebody else's system, an answer, and a plan for when the answer never arrives. Learn this once and every service you ever add is the same job with different words.

02

Picking your stack and moving on

There are forty ways to do all of this and thirty-nine of them are fine. Here's what I use, here's why, and here's how to tell when something you're reading about is a real difference or just a different brand name.

03

Taking money

A real checkout that puts money in your account. Products and prices, what happens after somebody pays, and the webhook that confirms the payment actually cleared, since you can't take the browser's word for it.

04

Testing money without spending any

Test mode, fake cards, and how to make a payment fail on purpose so you can see what your customer sees. Doing this properly is what stops the first real transaction being the first time you find out.

05

Bookings

Letting people take a slot without emailing you first. Availability, double bookings, time zones, and the cancellation nobody thinks about until it happens.

06

Email that sends itself

The confirmation, the reminder, the receipt. Writing them so they arrive and get read, and making sure a failure to send doesn't quietly lose you the booking.

07

When somebody else's service is down

Retries, timeouts, and what your customer sees while it's happening. Every integration fails eventually, and the difference between a bad afternoon and a lost sale is what you did before it did.

08

Knowing it worked

Where to look when somebody says they paid and you can't find it. Logs, the payment dashboard, and the small amount of record keeping that turns an argument into a lookup.

Know when it opens.

Leave your email and we'll tell you when the first lessons are up. You'll hear from us once, at the point where there's actually something to watch.

Everyone on the list pays the founding price of $149 a course. It opens at $199. Nothing to pay now, and no date attached to any of it.

Would rather we just built it for you? See what that costs.
